1st CONTRAST Workshop

The whole CONTRAST team is now happy to announce the 1st CONTRAST Workshop as a satellite workshop on the Graz International BCI Conference 2014. It will take place on September 15, 2014, in Graz (Austria).

Introduced by Prof. Dr. Andrea Kübler (Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Germany)) as Project Coordinator, it will take place on September 15, 2014, in Graz (Austria) from 15:00 to 18:00. Main topics include “Scientific evidence of neurofeedback in clinical applications”, “Scientific evidence of BCI use in stroke rehabilitation” or “Bio-and neurofeedback in neurorehabilitation: a clinical psychologist's perspective”, among others.

MIHealth Management & Clinical Innovation Forum

In May, MIHealth Management & Clinical Innovation Forum, the leading European event of its kind, will bring to Fira de Barcelona over 70 national and international experts in order to tackle the transformation of Healthcare with the aim of preserving Health systems and make them sustainable. 6th International Brain-Computer Interface Conference 2014

The International Brain-Computer Interface Conference 2014 - organized and hosted for the 6th time by the Graz University of Technology - is the largest and most important venue for BCI research in Europe. The triennial meeting attracts 150+ delegates from all over the world. The event will include round tables, poster sessions, talks, awards, and keynotes by Scott Makeig (Swartz Center for Computational Neuroscience), Marco Marsella (Directorate General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology, EC) and Nick F. Ramsey (Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Rudolf Magnus Institute for Neuroscience).

'Uno Mattina', the major TV talk show for news and entertainment of the RAI 1 (first national broadcasting channel in Italy), interviewed DR. Mattia Donatella (Fondazione Santa Lucia). During the interview, Dr. Mattia explained how CONTRAST Project is providing stroke patients (and rehabilitators) with the COALA neurofeedback training module to support cognitive (memory) rehabilitation in subacute stroke patients admitted to FSL for rehabilitation intervention.

The interview got a 20% of share (above one million of persons were watching it).
